            Guest Terms and Conditions.

These terms and conditions aim to protect both guests and owners.

                                                                                                                                      

1.  The Booking Form indicates the person responsible for the booking and this person undertakes that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.  That person becomes solely responsible for the care of the Bed and Breakfast, its contents and its surrounds.

2.  Due to insurance and council regulations, the persons listed on the booking form MUST NOT change.  Day guests are welcome (without animals) between the hours 9am-9pm.  No more than 6 day guests are permitted at any one time.  However, if you wish to have additional OVERNIGHT GUESTS, you must seek approval, then pay an additional rate per person per night.  Breaching this condition may find you forfeiting ALL monies paid and you may be asked to vacate the premises immediately.

3.  As owners we are permitted to inspect the property without prior notification at any time and may evict any or all guests if the property is not in the same condition as it was prior to guest arrival.

4.  Smoking is NOT permitted inside the property at any time.  Smoking outside is allowed.  However, cigarette butts must be disposed of in bins.  Any left lying around the grounds of the property are the responsibility of the person booking Hazelglen.  Additional cleaning costs will apply if cigarette butts are not disposed of appropriately.  Guests found smoking will be asked to leave immediately.  Any guests choosing to disregard the NO SMOKING policy will have steam/dry cleaning costs taken from their security deposit.

5.  Animals of any kind are NOT permitted in or around the property at any time.

6.  Guests are responsible for all damage, breakages and loss incurred during the occupancy.  These are to be reported, replaced and/or paid for.  This includes lost keys.  If keys are not returned, locks will be changed and costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

7.  Guests must leave the property in a clean and tidy state and all excess garbage removed.  Dishes need to be done and put away, and check out must occur by 10am to allow time for cleaning for next guests.

8. Guests will indemnify the owner of the property against all liability, which might otherwise attach to the owner of the property as a result of injury, damage or loss (personal and proprietary) suffered by any person, where such injury, damage or loss has been caused by or contributed to by any act or omission of the guest/s or invitees.

These conditions are an agreement between the parties. Any infringement permits the owner of the property to refuse a key, amend the booking, or immediately terminate the tenancy.

9. Council regulations give permanent residents and owners living nearby the right to peace and quiet, therefore, curfews are in place preventing excessive or late night noise. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. Ignoring this condition may result in the termination of your stay. Please respect the neighbours.

Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave if they choose to disregard these conditions, or if they are exhibiting unruly behaviour.  No refund is offered if your stay is terminated due to bad behaviour and you will be expected to pay for any damage or breakages. 

A BOND OF $1000 IS REQUIRED WITH EACH BOOKING.  THIS CAN BE PROCESSED AS A CREDIT CARD AUTHORISATION WHERE THE MONEY ONLY LEAVES THE ACCOUNT IF REQUIRED.

 
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be advised in writing, stating the details of the booking and reason for cancellation.  The following refunds are possible if the property is re-booked by another party: 

Cancellations made more than one month before arrival date:  

85% refund, less $100 administration fee.

Cancellations made 2-4 weeks before arrival date:                 

50% refund, less $100 administration fee.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival:                               

No refund.
