Rosebud is perfectly located for drives to historic townships of Sorrento and Portsea.  Roam Point Nepean and take in the breathtaking scenery.  Take the back roads to Flinders or Cape Schanck and immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of the coastline.

There is a plethora of biking and walking trails.  Seawinds garden at Arthur's Seat, boardwalks along the bay and bushwalks through National Parks will reveal the Peninsula's native wildlife and flora.

The Mornington Peninsula offers some of the finest golf courses in Australia, or indeed the world!  Our fishing spots are second-to-none and you can try your luck from the pier or surf fishing locations.  There are local fishing charters that provide all equipment and take you out for a half day or full day fishing - so again, you don't need to pack anything!  Game and recreational fishing charters also run from historic Portsea and Queenscliff.  Hazelglen's fridge and deep freeze will be awaiting your catch!

Antique centres are located in nearby Mornington and Tyabb, where you can lose yourself in the wonders of the past.  And if you want to lose yourself in the present, why not visit the award winning Peninsula Mazes... the Enchanted Maze at Arthur's Seat, Ashcombe Maze at Shoreham or Boneo Maze. 

For thrill seekers, surf the waves at Gunnamatta, swim with dolphins and meet the seals, go scuba diving, snorkelling or sailing.  Feel the foam spray over you as you race on a jet ski, let the wind whip through your hair as you horse ride through the hinterland, or venture into Frankston for a Paintball experience!

If you enjoy finding a bargain, Rosebud has many interesting op-shops or you could try the monthly trash and treasure near the foreshore on the Village Green, the weekly Saturday markets or the Sunday trash and treasure at Dromana Drive-Inn.

If history is your thing, there are historic homes and cottages... Watts cottage at Sorrento, Heronswood at Dromana, McCrae Homestead, the Briars Homestead and Coolart Homestead.

Take a ride aboard an authentic steam train.  The kids will love it!
